Sheffield will host the first ever UK heats of the prestigious World Tapas Competition

This renowned competition has firmly established Valladolids’ status as a key destination for tapas gastronomy. Tapas, Spains’ most iconic and universally recognised culinary tradition, consist of small, diverse portions of food, designed to be shared and enjoyed in an informal setting - perfectly aligning with modern gastronomic trends.
The World Tapas Competition Heats now include the UK among 17 participating countries alongside New Zealand, India, the United States, Mexico and Malaysia.
Top chefs battle it out in national heats for the chance to represent their country in this prestigious contest. The winners advance to the final in Valladolid, Spain, to compete for a grand prize of €10,000.
