World Tapas Competition Finals

The UK winner, runner-up, and their sponsors will travel to Spain to take part in the World Tapas Competition Finals. There, the UK winner will present their signature Tapa on the international stage.
Each competing dish must be costed at no more than €1.80 to produce and will be judged by a panel of acclaimed chefs and gastronomic experts, who evaluate the quality, creativity, and originality of every Tapa.
In Spain, competing chefs will battle it out to win cash prizes:
First place - €10,000
Second place - €5,000
Third place - €2,500

Valladolid becomes the tapas capital every November as the host of the World Tapas Competition, in the Cúpula del Milenio and the International Tapas Festival. Residents and visitors get to taste over 60 finalist proposals at the city’s bars. Since its launch in 2017, this renowned competition has been a celebration of exceptional Tapas - served in a single, unforgettable bite.
